BSR Go-abroad
Project Objective
The objective of BSR Go-abroad was to increase the resilience of 250 micro-SMEs in the Baltic Sea Region, by stimulating increased trade and collaboration across the Baltic Sea Region. This was achieved by providing micro-SMEs with the knowledge, tools, and networks needed to implement effective internationalisation strategies and build strong local value chains.
The project piloted an internationalisation programme for micro-SMEs, resulting in a blueprint of tools and recommendations on how to strengthen and support local trade and value chain collaboration among micro-SMEs in the Baltic Sea Region. This blueprint is available to micro-SMEs, Business Development Organisations, and business development departments within local authorities across the region.
Building on this foundation, this Community Platform was developed based on the BSR Go-abroad project, its solutions, and its tools, extending the project’s impact by making its knowledge, methods, and network accessible beyond the initial programme period.
BSR Go-abroad is co-funded by the European Union through the Interreg Baltic Sea Region programme.

About the BSR Go-abroad programme
